After a 2-year hiatus, Horror And Sons’ Halloween Horrors series makes its return, beginning this October! This year, we have 25 different contributors lined up to share their thoughts on a wide variety of films, all with the goal of celebrating horror and the Halloween season. Some of these films may already be on your October “watch list”, while others may be films that you’re just hearing about for the first time. 

Personally, I’m quite pleased to present a list that features at least one film from each decade from the 1930’s until today. This includes black and white classics, modern-era thrillers, splattery cult classics, Cold War-era schlockers, killer animal rampages, obscurities, foreign films, and even family fare! Featuring names like Paul Naschy, Wes Craven, Russell Crowe, John Carpenter, Bela Lugosi, and Alfred Hitchcock, this year’s selection of films should cover a wide array of horror film fandom.
